Mossyduck's Retrievers is a small hobby kennel located in Rochester.

First and foremost we only breed a litter with the intention of keeping a puppy. So we only breed once every 3 - 5 years.

We breed for genetic soundness, healthy, wonderful temperament, and beautiful dogs with retrieving ability, and who are easy to love and live with.

All breeding stock has final hip/elbow ratings, eye clearances annually using a ACVO eye exam, we only breed to stud dogs meeting the above criteria.

Puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract with Limited AKC Registration.

Mossyduck's puppies are born and raised inside our home. They are provided a safe and clean environment where they are watched carefully and receive lots of human as well as other dog contact. New homes are carefully screened. Our first priority in placing puppies is that they are placed in loving homes with responsible families that will love & cherish them as part of their family.

If for any reason someone is unable to keep their puppy, the puppy will always have a home at Mossyducks Retrievers.

Puppies will have their dewclaws removed, worming starting at 2 weeks, 3, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, 2 sets of shots at 5 & 7 weeks, and eye certification before going to their new home. Also Copy of all parents clearances, four generation pedigree, copy of parents accomplishments, photo's of both parents
